The model i hve suggest was for Onir’s I AM films, he is trying to raise money.
the concept is to generate money by making ppl call u (PULL factor) TO MAKE FILMS

ME TOO WAITING FOR 3G TO KICK IN.
SO DON’T TALK ABOUT IT TO ANY BIG DADDIES OF FILM/TV

i AM NOT TRYING TO CREATE CONTENT,
JUST THE EASE OF WATCHING/DOING/ETC…
THE VIA MEDIA -conduit.

W/ A HI-END 3G U LITERALLY HAVE A live TV STATION IN UR HANDS.

A FRIEND OF MINE IS SERIOUSLY INTO THIS MOBILE CONTENT CREATION
AND HE HAS BEEN TELLING ME TO COME UP WITH IDEAS AS 3G IS COMING ++
(for eg: with 3g you will have video ads coming on your mobile phone.. which will really tempt you to reply or irritate the shit out of you. which ever way they will want your attention and money..) AND A LOT OF 3G CONTENT (WHICH IS BASICALLY VIDEO) WILL HAVE TO BE CREATED…

like twitter/FB n thats what this is gonna take advantage of…

BTW MUSIC VIDEOS ARE DISAPPEARING FRM THE UTUBE LIKE SITES.

however just conceptulising is nt enough.. there is something like ABCD (Astro, Bollywood, Cricket and Devotional)

now your concept falls under this B category..
problems

1. ok you have the concept but where is the connection. (BIG PICTURES… reliance…) CAN DO THIS RIGHT AWAY THEY HAVE CONVENTIONAL CONTENT N THE CONDUIT.

since your concept is so heavily based on movies
no films no ASTRO, DEVOTIONAL (maybe). sports,(i am not too sure, IT’LL B LIKE CHOOSE UR ANGLE TO WATCH A GAME.)

- you need to have a strong foothold in that industry
you need to crack deals with the moviewallas..
and what makes you think that they (yash raj/ balaji/ or who ever are not already thinking about it)

2. all the stuff you are providing your customers is already available on internet which wil become super fast on mobile phones once 3 g kicks in.. so..?

3. fuck all films are being made..
THis idea is using the regular 2g way to raise monies for films to be made.

what idea /content will wrk better on 3G,
IS A TOTALLY different ball game.

think 4-5 yrs frm now.
